Module Objectives:

Know the different modes of transport and storage of liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons. This includes describing pipelines, gas pipelines, and oil pipelines, the conditions under which they are installed, and calculating their main characteristics.

A description and classification of hydrocarbon storage tanks will also be addressed. Likewise, an overview will be given of dispatching stations, maritime transport methods, and safety. .

Recommended Prerequisites: Skills acquired during the Bachelor’s training: fluid mechanics and strength of materials.
