Snubbing

Snubbing is an important intervention service on eruptive wells and thanks to their safety
devices equipped with remote controls, acting on wells with pressure can affect the productivity
of formations. The Snubbing units are realized different operations under pressure, such as
breaking, neutralization and start of wells... The maneuvers of Snubbing is divided into three
phases: Snubbing, balance point and SLIP. Its device consists of HRL and HRS, the difference
between them is in the lifting and pushing capacity. The two share the same equipment of
maneuver and safety of wells. The Snubbing activity is full of risks, because they are in high
pressure operations. To counter that threat, must be used the occupational risk assessment; is a
method for estimating health risks from exposure to various levels of a workplace hazard.
Understanding how much exposure to a hazard poses health risks to workers is important to
appropriately eliminate, control, and reduce those risks. And to maintain a balance between the
legal, social and financial stakes. Occupational Risk Assessment is a structured approach,
which involves five steps: preparing risk assessment, identifying hazards, assessing risks,
determining and adopting corrective and or preventive measures, control and review. To better
appreciate the importance of safety in SNNUBING operations, it is important to have an effect
on the statistics of work accidents, to obtain the severity and the probability of the risk. After
completing all this, the results are collected in the EVRP
