The course covers the origin, classification, and exploration of mineral resources. It introduces ore geology, metallogeny, mineralization types (syngenetic and epigenetic), and the main genetic processes of ore formation (magmatic, metamorphic, hydrothermal, and sedimentary). Practical work focuses on rock types, mineralization textures, and microscopic identification of ores.
