This course on the hydrogeology of Algeria will describe the specific characteristics of the country's groundwater resources, focusing on the two main regions: the North (more humid) and the Sahara (more arid). It will study the interaction between geology and water in these two areas, covering concepts such as aquifer typology (sedimentary, sandstone, limestone, alluvial), their hydraulic functioning, their quality, and their management.
