Technical English for Management: Module Description

Welcome to the "Technical English for Management" module! This course is specially designed for first-year students majoring in Management who want to develop professional English communication skills used in the modern business world.


What will you learn?

Throughout 15 weeks, you will:

  • Build a strong foundation in business vocabulary and technical terms relevant to management, such as organization structure, roles, daily operations, meetings, negotiations, marketing, finance, human resources, communication, and workplace procedures.

  • Engage with real-life business scenarios, reading texts, and authentic management documents to develop practical language skills.

  • Practice speaking, listening, reading, and writing using professional English for teamwork, problem solving, customer relations, and conflict resolution.

  • Learn to communicate confidently in meetings, write effective reports and emails, negotiate agreements, and collaborate across departments.

  • Explore cultural differences in business interactions and develop language strategies for global communication.


How is the course organized?

  • Each week features 90-minute sessions focused on a core business theme.

  • You will work individually, in pairs, and in groups through interactive activities, role plays, games, and short presentations.

  • Lessons are adapted for mixed-level groups, with special support for both lower-level learners and those ready for advanced B2 challenges.

  • Technical terms are always introduced with clear definitions and Arabic translations to help comprehension.
