This module develops first-year students’ competence in translation from English into Arabic, building on the fundamental notions acquired during the first semester. It emphasizes the analysis of English source texts and the production of accurate, natural Arabic translations. Students practice equivalence strategies, grammatical restructuring, and lexical selection. Particular attention is given to linguistic differences between the two languages and to the practice of the main translation techniques. The course aims to strengthen methodological awareness and translation autonomy.
