This course is designed to help students of master 2 geology of hydrocarbon to find quick solutions to common data analysis problems in Earth sciences. The MATLAB software is used because it provides many ready-to-use algorithms for most data analysis methods.
MATLAB scripts are provided to solve typical Earth sciences problems, such as (simple statistics, time series analysis, geostatistics, image processing and visualization.
This course offers students the opportunity to learn how to use a widely used professional software.
