By taking the Polymer Production course, students will learn about the processes used to produce different types of polymers and observe the various reactions involved in polyaddition and polycondensation to produce polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, etc.
To fully benefit from the course, students must first acquire knowledge of polymer chemistry and the chemistry of separation processes, organic chemistry, mass and heat transfer, and reactor design.
