This course is devoted for second year students of English. It consists of a variety of tutorial objectives to help develop the students'  speaking production via a comprehensive content that balances between listening and speaking.

Listening to podcasts is useful in EFL oral expression and comprehension classes, based on different  themes .

1) Why Listening to Podcasts in EFL Oral Expression & Comprehension Classes Is Important

Listening to podcasts in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes has real pedagogical benefits:

Improves listening comprehension and real speech exposure

Podcasts expose learners to natural spoken language — real pronunciation, rhythm, and flow that textbooks often don’t provide. This improves learners’ ability to understand authentic English beyond scripted classroom dialogs.
Supported by research on authentic listening material improving comprehension and fluency.

Builds vocabulary and contextual understanding

When learners hear language in meaningful contexts (stories, speeches, conversations), they acquire vocabulary and phrases more effectively than memorizing isolated words.

Develops critical thinking

Podcasts — especially ones with ideas to reflect on — help students learn to analyze meaning, infer speaker intentions, and evaluate arguments. These higher-order skills are key parts of comprehension.

Encourages learner autonomy

Students can listen outside class, at their own pace, and replay content — building a habit of independent language learning.
