    •    Course Goal

      At the end of this course, the student will be able to:

       1. Improve their knowledge of electrical production, transmission and distribution systems within different topology, and architectures types of electrical networks. 

      2. Understanding the importance of transmission networks by acknowledging the operations of line transmissions. 

      3. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the operation of electrical network distribution within its safety. 

      4. Understand the exploitation of electrical network in case medium and low voltage by adjustment substations voltage’s level. 

      5.  Understanding how to use different management neutral in power system.

      6. Comprehension of voltage adjustment in power system.

      The course content is organized as follows:

       Chapter 1: Overview of the production, transmission, and distribution system (2 week)

       Chapter 2: transmission network organization

      2-1 transmission lines (3 weeks)

      2.2 distribution network (2 weeks)

      Chapter 3: electrical network exploitation (3 weeks)

      Chapter 4: neutral regime (2 weeks)

       Chapter 5: voltage adjustment (3 weeks)
