Oral comprehension and expression is a fundamental course for EFL learners who are required to raise their awareness about features of spoken English in terms of sound recognition in speech perception and production,degrees of formality, and register.The present course is designed for first year LMD students at the English language department at Kasdi Merbah University taken as a fundamental unit in two semesters .It consist a set of tutorials held twice a week with 3hours in order to achieve the previously selected objectives in the syllabus.It introduces the students to authentic passages of spoken English and enable them to use them in context by implementing a set of techniques, strategies, and activities. Fluency, accuracy, clarity, self-confidence , paralanguage, and vocabulary building are criteria of continuous assessment
