This course is intended for first-year undergraduate students in Petroleum oil and Gas.
It aims to provide students with practical experience in applying the fundamental concepts of mechanics through a series of laboratory experiments that link theory to real physical observation.
The course includes several key experiments such as:
-Free fall experiment to measure the acceleration due to gravity,
     -Simple pendulum experiment,
-Uncertainty (error) analysis in physical measurements,
-Torsion pendulum experiment to study torque and moment of inertia,

The main objectives are to:
-Develop students’ skills in precise measurement and data analysis,
-Reinforce understanding of motion and equilibrium laws,
-Train students in experimental uncertainty and result evaluation,
-Promote the scientific method through observation, hypothesis, experimentation, and interpretation
