Geometric and physical optics
Teaching objectives:
Acquisition of knowledge on the fundamental laws of geometric optics and physics and the techniques and instruments used. Applications on systems optics or the concentration of radiation in the case of solar concentrators (parabolic, parabolic cylindrical or Fresnel mirrors of tower power plants).
Connaissances préalables recommandées
It is recommended to master the basic notions of general physics and principle of vector projection as well as in-depth notions of mathematical geometry.
