The objective of this module is to understand the various modes of transporting and storing liquid and gaseous hydrocarbons. Students will learn to describe pipelines, gas pipelines, and oil pipelines, including their installation conditions, and will calculate their key features. The module will also cover the description and classification of hydrocarbon storage tanks. An overview will also be provided on dispatching stations, maritime transport methods, and safety protocols.
