Sequential and genetic stratigraphy, this teaching is based on the concept of sea level variation either by a climatic cause (THF and HF sequences) or by tectonics (tectono-eustatism) giving low frequency sequences. How to decrypt sedimentary series in order to establish the eustatic signal? This is the objective of this course, through stacking-pattern genetic stratigraphy models and sequential stratigraphy models. Then, relate the results of sequential analysis and sequential stratigraphy at the regional scale.
