This course offers a foundational exploration of the essential components of academic research, guiding students through the processes that underpin rigorous scholarly inquiry. Across four focused lectures, learners will develop the skills needed to navigate existing knowledge, design effective research plans, and apply proper academic conventions. The first lecture introduces the Literature Review, emphasizing critical engagement with previous studies and the synthesis of key findings. The second covers the Research Proposal, teaching students how to conceptualize and structure a coherent and feasible research project. The final lecture addresses Schools of Citation, familiarizing students with major referencing systems and their role in maintaining academic integrity. Together, these lectures aim to equip students with the methodological tools required for successful academic research.
