It aims to develop a thorough understanding of the core concepts related to standardization, traceability, and certification—essential elements for ensuring food safety and compliance.
The course enables students to identify and compare the main standards used in the agri-food industry, including HACCP, ISO 22000, and BRCGS.
Particular attention is paid to the strategic role of traceability in controlling food risks, managing non-conformities, and protecting consumers.
