At the end of this course, the student will be able to establish the general equations of electromechanical energy conversion applied to synchronous machines, asynchronous machines, and direct current machines, and to determine their characteristics under steady-state and transient operating conditions. This will notably make it possible to take into account the association of machines with static power converters, and to learn the different types of protection and control equipment used in electrical installations.
