Au cours de cet enseignement sont présentés tout d’abord les notions générales sur les techniques de forage et d’acquisition des diagraphies, ainsi que le principe et les apports des diagraphies instantannées. La majeure partie du cours porte ensuite sur la présentation des principaux outils de diagraphie instantannées : définitions, notion de lag time, description des cuttings, analyse de gaz, principe de fonctionnement des capteurs.

This course begins by presenting general concepts related to drilling techniques and well logging, as well as the principles and benefits of delayed logging. The majority of the course then focuses on the presentation of the main delayed logging tools: spontaneous polarization, gamma-ray, sonic, density, neutron, and resistivity. The theoretical concepts concerning the operation of each tool are explained, along with their operating principles, advantages and limitations, and main applications. Numerous practical exercises will allow students to gain experience in analyzing well logs within the context of reservoir studies.
