This practical module focuses on the study of the main renewable energy resources and their exploitation. It aims to identify renewable energy sources (solar, wind, hydropower, biomass, and geothermal), analyze their geographical availability, and assess their energy potential. The practical exercises allow students to evaluate the physical parameters influencing production (sunlight, wind speed, water flow, etc.) and to estimate the exploitable energy using calculation methods and experimental measurements. The module also highlights the environmental benefits of renewable energies as well as their technical and economic limitations within the framework of a sustainable energy transition.
