The objective of this course is to study the quality of electrical energy in power systems by analyzing voltage and/or current degradation, as well as disturbances occurring in electrical networks. It also aims to understand how non-linear loads can be responsible for these disturbances. Furthermore, the course focuses on studying solutions to improve power quality by preventing disturbances whenever possible or mitigating them when they are unavoidable.
