Mechanical Design 1

This course constitutes the first part of the Mechanical Design module, which is divided into two complementary sections. While the second part focuses on power transmission systems and their associated components, the first part is devoted to the design and selection of fundamental machine elements and mechanical joints. It introduces the main design principles, application criteria, and sizing and strength calculations required for the proper selection and dimensioning of mechanical components.
