General objectives:

The objective of this Course is to familiarize the student with the basic notions of networks of telecommunications. The student will understand the concepts of norms and standards. Characteristics and criteria for evaluating digital transmissions. How to protect these transmissions digital against errors mainly due to the types of channels used. Finally, examples wired, wireless and also mobile telecommunications networks will be presented
